Spongebob Squarepants: The Complete Ninth Season Available on DVD!

We received the following products for review purposes.  All opinions are our own.

Holy Cow!!!  The complete ninth season, all in one place.  The kids loved these episodes!  Super excited to have them all in one place.

SpongeBob and friends are back underwater with the DVD release of SpongeBob SquarePants: The Complete Ninth Season, which includes over 20 episodes and three double-length episodes from the show's ninth season. SpongeBob SquarePants continues to be the most-watched animated series for the past 15 years and in this DVD, SpongeBob, Sandy, Patrick, Squidward, Mr. Krabs and Plankton are up to even more of their wet-and-wild, deep-sea dilemmas! Whether it's SpongeBob searching for a job, Squidward learning the art of kah-rah-tay or Mr. Krabs getting married (to a pile of cold-hard-cash!), the nautical nonsense is as rampant as ever!

Both Allyson and Cooper have been going crazy over this title.   Ally enjoys the Extreme Sports and Squid Baby episodes and Cooper doesn't have a favorite.  They both sit... laughing... together!  I couldn't ask for anything more as a mom.  Thank you once again, Spongebob Squarepants!

Spongebob Squarepants: The Complete Ninth Season is available for purchase today!  It's perfect for any old Tuesday or for Christmas.  Just make sure you grab a copy for your collection.

a Very nick jr. Christmas on DVD!

Spending the Christmas Season watching holiday videos is one of my favorite past times!  I have my favorites but this year Cooper has found his new favorite.  Of course it is none other than the all-stars of Nick Jr in A Very Nick Jr. Christmas!

A Very Nick Jr. Christmas has 6 adventures!  You can find Blaze and the Monster Machines, Shimmer and Shine, Dora and Friends, Bubble Guppies, and Wallykazam!  Each character goes on their own adventure at Christmas time!   These characters are so cute.  I love how they have their personalities and own their own little piece of my favorite holiday!

Cooper and Allyson both sat down to watch this collection.  Usually Cooper is the one to enjoy Blaze and Bubble Guppies but Ally was very happy to see Shimmer and Shine in the lineup.  They each had a favorite episode.  As usual its not the same one.  Cooper loved "Monster Machine Christmas" by Blaze and the Monster Machines while Ally stayed true to her Shimmer and Shine girls in "Santa's Little Genies."  We all know as parents that we have our favorites too, so I'm chiming in with "Snow Place Like Home" by Wallykazam!  Wally and I seem to be on the same page every time!  I love that little guy!

A Very Nick Jr. Christmas is available for purchase in a store near you.  Be sure to pick it up and share with your Littles this holiday season!

Paw Patrol: Brave Heroes Big Rescues

Paw Patrol to the rescue!  Anytime you're in trouble, just call the Paw Patrol!   That is what Cooper would like to do.  The new collection of episodes in Big Heroes, Big Rescues is out in stores today!

You can find 6 episodes, each a little different from the next on this newly released collection.  When I started the disk for the first time, Cooper asked me "Which episode is first, Mom?"  I had no idea my 4 year old paid attention to those things, but apparently he does.  He was happy to hear first up is Pups Save Jake.

The other episodes you can find are Pups Save the Parade, Pups Save a Mer-Pup, Pups Save a Friend, Pups Save a Stowaway, and Pups Bark with Dinosaurs.   While Mom's favorite episode in this collection is Pups Save a Friend, Cooper loves Pups Bark with Dinosaurs.  Putting his love of the Paw Patrol and Dinosaurs together hit him in the right spot!

Shimmer and Shine on DVD Feb 2nd!

Have you discovered the cuteness that is Nickelodeon's new show Shimmer and Shine?  Both Cooper and Allyson love the adventures these twins find themselves on! This collection of episodes is nothing short of adventurous!

Nickelodeon's (mis)adventurous and magical twin sisters come to DVD on Shimmer and Shine. In its standalone DVD debut, fans can join Shimmer, Shine, Leah and her friend Zac in the magical worlds of genies, dinosaurs and more. Despite any obstacles, the power of teamwork and friendship help to make their adventures turn out great! In addition to over 2 ½ hours of magical content, this DVD comes with a set of four hair ties as a fun gift with purchase! Created by Nickelodeon Home Entertainment and distributed by Paramount Home Media Distribution, Shimmer and Shine is available for the first time on DVD February 2, 2016 for the hot, bargain price of $14.99.

Cooper's favorite part of Shimmer and Shine is when the songs start. This has been a wide spread thing for him but he really enjoys the songs!  I love music too, so I can't blame him.  Ally's favorite part are their little sidekick animals.  Very fitting for each child in the family!

Head to your closest store and pick up the DVD right away!  Your children will be happy that you did.  Be sure to keep your eyes open for their new Magical toys from Fisher-Price!

Whiskers & Paws on DVD

This new collection features DVD debut episodes of Nick hits Shimmer and Shine and Fresh Beat Band of Spies.   You can also find PAW Patrol, Bubble Guppies, Dora and Friends, and Blue's Clues!  As you can tell, this collection has a little bit of everything for everyone.   Ally likes to watch Dora and Friends along with Shimmer and Shine.  Cooper wants to watch every episode.   Both children are happy here!

It is quite often that I'll find the kids playing "dogs."  They prance around on all fours, barking at each other.  This movie sparked the dog inside them like past Paw Patrol videos have.  Sitting on the couch and watching this video has been the routine for the last few days after school.  Snack time with Whiskers & Paws!

This collection has Shimmer and Shine's "Abraca-Genie", Paw Patrol's "Pups Leave Marshall Home Alone", Dora and Friends "Puppy Princess Rescue", Fresh Beat Band of Spies "Bunnies Go Bananas", Bubble Guppies "Bubble Kitty!" and Blue's Clues "Un Dia Con Plum!".   Each of these episodes can stand on their own but this collection is really great!  You finish one episode and another hit comes up.

Dora and Friends: Season 1 on DVD!

Dora and Friends are out on DVD!!  When we got the chance to have the complete first season on DVD, Ally ripped the package out of my hands and demanded to watch it immediately.  Who knew she was still such a big fan of Dora?   I realized that since Dora grew up right along with her, that is what has kept her interest.  Smart thinking, Nickelodeon!

¡Todos juntos! It's time to join Dora and her new friends on all of their original adventures with the DVD release of Dora and Friends: The Complete First Season. In this brand-new, bilingual release of the entire first season of Dora and Friends, fans see their beloved Latina heroine living in the city, attending school and at the center of a group of friends who work together to give back to the community. Armed with a magical charm bracelet, trusty Map App, and the strength that comes from working with smart, funny, and supportive friends, Dora is always ready to save the day, solve problems, speak (and teach!) Spanish, and go on real-life and magical adventures.

With over seven hours of entertainment, this educational DVD collection features "Dragon In the School," a never before-aired episode of Dora and Friends as well as a Nick Jr. Bonus Disc! Fans won't want to miss this 4-disc collection, complete with doggie adoptions, Puppy Princesses, beautiful mermaids and so much more! Created by Nickelodeon and distributed by Paramount Home Media Distribution, Dora and Friends: The Complete First Seasonarrives on DVD on December 8, 2015 for the suggested retail price of $21.99.

Ally's favorite part about the new disks is she could choose to watch them in English or Spanish.  She is hoping to be fluent in Spanish some day, so this is a great starts for my little 6 year old!

Paw Patrol: Meet Everest on DVD

Disclosure:  I received one or more products in this post in exchange of an honest review.  All opinions are my own.

Let me paint you a little picture:

Cooper, sitting quietly in the morning after a fun hour of playing with cars and building blocks.  He is watching Nickelodeon while I am trying to get some work at my desk. Again, all is quiet until I hear,

"Mom!!!!!!! MOM!!!!!  Paw Patrol has a new movie!  I want to watch Everest! MOM!!!!  Turn on Paw Patrol Everest!!!

With the release of Paw Patrol: Meet Everest! I have seen these episodes a few times.  The disk has been played so many times the thought that the disk might wear out crossed my mind.  That doesn't happen with DVDs, right?  My mom used to tell me that with my favorite song on cassette tape.  Anyway, you get my point!  Big Fans Here!

If you prefer to know what you're getting into before purchasing this awesome DVD for your Little, check out the list of episodes below.  Cooper's favorite is Pups and the Big Freeze.  He likes to watch them rescue on the ice and snow.

It's up to Ryder, Rubble, and Everest to clear out all the snow and ice!
• Pups Save the Deer- When a family of deer gets separated on slippery ice and a snowy hill, it's up to Zuma and Everest to lead an icy rescue to reunite them!
• Pups Make A Splash- When Cap'n Turbot's boat runs aground, Ryder, Zuma, Skye, and Rocky must team up to save it before it sinks!

Nickelodeon Favorites: Puppy Palooza! on DVD

Disclosure:  I received one or more products in this post in exchange of an honest review.  All opinions are my own.

In celebration of National Dog Day, I am so excited to bring you Nickelodeon's PAWsome collection of episodes!  It is no secret that we are fans of pups around here.  Lilly and Danny our dogs would tell you just how much love they receive on a daily basis.  Then there is also the little human acting as a dog on occasion.  "Good Morning, Puppy" is often spoken when I first see Cooper in the morning.  Puppies on the TV and Puppies watching the TV... Never a dull moment around here!

I absolutely love when Nickelodeon puts a collection together like this.  PAW Patrol and Blue's Clues on one DVD!  They sure know how to do pups!  You can find the following episodes on the Puppy Palooza DVD.

• PAW Patrol: Pups Save A Super Pup/Pups Save Ryder's Robot - Rubble is pretending to be a super pup, but when he gets himself in trouble, it's up to Ryder and the PAW Patrol to save Rubble! / When Ryder's Robot Pup breaks and starts going wild around Adventure Bay, it takes the whole PAW Patrol to help Ryder find it.
• Bubble Guppies: Bubble Puppy! - Sit!  Stay!  Fetch!  Gil wants to adopt a puppy, but the Bubble Guppies have to learn how to take care of a pet before he can bring the little guy home.
• Dora The Explorer: Puppies Galore - Dora, Boots, Benny and a stroller full of rambunctious puppies rush to save their puppy friend, Little Boots, before he wakes up a bear.
• Team Umizoomi: Buster the Lost Dog - Milli, Geo and Bot are playing in the park with their friend Anna and her adorable dog Buster.  When a game of fetch goes awry, Buster accidentally jumps into the back of a truck that carries him far, far away...to a construction site!  To rescue Buster, the team must use their mighty-math skills to find Buster and reunite him with Anna.
• Blue's Clues: Magenta Comes Over - Blue has a playdate with her best friend Magenta. We play Blue's Clues to determine what Blue wants to do when Magenta comes over.  In addition to finding Blue's Clues, we identify and categorize footprints in the backyard with Shovel and Pail, explore the concept of opposites with Mr. Salt and Mrs. Pepper, and help the Felt Friends pick out costumes by making associations.
• Mutt & Stuff - In this half-hour special, Calvin's dad (Cesar Millan, original star of The Dog Whisperer) hands him the keys to Mutt & Stuff and makes him in charge of the only school on the planet just for dogs!  Calvin's job to make sure all the dogs get a bubble bath before the Dynamo Doggy Frisbee Festival. When lovable 6-foot-tall fuzzy dog Stuff gets too excited around the newest puppy, the little pup gets scared and won't get in the tub. Calvin helps Stuff learn a valuable lesson about acting calm around a puppy so it feels safe when it's trying something new. Get ready for mounds of messy bubbles, heartfelt moments, unbelievable Frisbee tricks, a dog-themed dance party, and lots of slapstick doggy silliness! It's all just a typical day at Mutt & Stuff!

Celebrate Fall on Nickelodeon DVD!

Disclosure:  I received one or more products in this post in exchange of an honest review.  All opinions are my own.

Nickelodeon has put together a collection of episodes from Cooper's favorite shows to Celebrate Fall! Since moving to the Sunshine State, seasons don't seem to be present.  Coming from a state where the seasons are very prevalent,   the lack of seasons in my life has somehow brought on a sadness.  The excitement I felt when I opened up this disk was probably a little more than I should have been feeling.  I'm not going to judge myself though... Feel free to do so though.

The episode selection is perfect on this disk!  My personal favorite is Team Umizoomi: The Ghost Family Costume Party!   It had both kids up and dancing with tons of giggles!

• PAW Patrol: Pups Save A Talent Show/Pups Save The Corn Roast-Rubble and Marshall are going to lead the PAW Patrol band in the Adventure Bay talent show! Will the pups be able to rescue Farmer Al first and get to the show on time? When Bettina accidentally turns a corn maze into a popcorn maze, spy Chase and Marshall must pop to it to save Chickaletta and stop the popping corn!
• Blaze and the Monster Machines: Truckball Team-Up -  Blaze discovers an exciting new sport called Truckball. When Crusher and his team of cronies challenge him, Blaze must scour all of Axle City to put together a Truckball team before the big game.
• Wallykazam!: The Explorers Club - Wally and Ogre Doug start a club for explorers and set out to find the rare Chickephant. Trouble brews when Bobgoblin starts a rival club with Hattie the Witch.
• Bubble Guppies: Gobble Gobble Guppies! - Molly and Gil can't wait to pick their favorite pumpkins, but when they lead everyone to the pumpkin patch, the pumpkins are gone! Their turkey friend Giblet leads them on a harvest hunt to find the culprits: the pumpkin patch pirates!
• Team Umizoomi: The Ghost Family Costume Party - It's Halloween and nobody is more excited than the team's newest pal...the hilarious Little Ghost!  Every year, all the funny ghosts get together for the big Ghost family costume party. Little Ghost can't wait to get there and show everyone his silly costume, but first Little Ghost has to figure out four Halloween riddles! Team Umizoomi use their mighty math powers to help Little Ghost find the old house, climb a tricky staircase, sneak past a black cat, rearrange some talking pumpkins and make it to the party just in time for the big surprise.
• The Fresh Beat Band: Giant Pumpkin - Shout picks a giant pumpkin for the Fall Festival, but it's too big to move by himself so the Fresh Beats work together to move it. They get to the festival in time and perform as a quartet with their giant pumpkin!

Even better than just telling you about this DVD that you can pick up at your local store.... I have a giveaway!!!  We love Nickelodeon DVD Giveaways around here, so enter, enter and then enter again!  Tons of multi-day entries available!

Blaze and the Monster Machines: High Speed Adventures

Disclosure:  I received one or more products in this post in exchange of an honest review.  All opinions are my own.

It's Blaze and the Monster Machines, It's Blaze and the Monster Machines, do do doot do doo, doo do doot do do.....  Oh wait!  I'm not alone here.  Sorry about that.  The Blaze and the Monster Machines theme song is so catchy.  I am guilty of signing it while cleaning.  While it may not be my chosen song, Cooper seems to think its funny.

With that admission, you can understand how happy Cooper and I were when Blaze's new movie showed up for us to review and share with you!  Of course there is a giveaway!  I hope you stick around for that.  Anyway, the kids and I weren't alone on the day that Blaze came to see us.  Allyson had a friend over.  Boy oh boy was he excited when I opened the package!!  Of course we had to watch High Speed Adventures right away!

The new Blaze and the Monster Machines movie includes 4 fun packed episodes!  You'll find Bouncy Tires, Stuntmania, Epic Sail, and Team Truck Challenge.  Cooper's favorite is Bouncy Tires.  The laughs and giggles that come out of him with each bounce is wonderful!

Pick up a copy of Blaze and the Monster Machines: High-Speed Adventures for your family today!  It is new on DVD as of today, Tuesday, August 11th!   It's a new favorite in our home and your Littles will love it too!

Dora and Friends: Doggie Day!

Disclosure:  I received one or more products in this post in exchange of an honest review.  All opinions are my own.

It is not surprising to me that Dora and Friends; Doggie Day! is a big hit in our house.  Dogs and Dora... Who can go wrong there?  Lately both Allyson and Cooper have been acting like dogs for about 50% of our day.  They also assume I know doggy language.....  Umm, not this Momma, but I try.

When Ally sat down to watch this DVD for the first time, she set up an audience of pups to watch Dora and the Doggies!  Silly Lilly even joined in on the fun.

While watching Dora and Friends: Doggie Day! you'll find 4 really great episodes!

• Doggie Day!
• Magic Land!
• Dora Saves Opera Land
• Puppet Theater

Both Allyson and Cooper enjoy Doggie Day! the best.  You can't go wrong with pups and Dora.  No way!   Let's get on with the show and see about this GIVEAWAY!!!!

Let's Learn Kindness on DVD!

Disclosure:  I received one or more products in this post in exchange of an honest review.  All opinions are my own.

This great DVD is available for purchase today!  That's very sweet of you to read through this post when I know you really want to get up and grab this gem for your Little!  So, keep reading and enter the Giveaway!!

The collection of episodes you can find on the Let's Learn Kindness DVD by Nickelodeon is a really great tool.  Not only am I able to do a little housework when I pop this disk in for Cooper, but he is learning that we need to treat everyone with kindness.  Let me give you a little more background into this kid's every day activities.  Often Cooper will walk up to our dog Lilly and pull her tail or her fur and make her yelp.  That isn't very kind.  Also as he is a three year old, we work on saying "Please and Thank You" in our every day exchange.  Dora's "Por Favor!" episode is another way for him to see everyone says "Please and Thank you."

While Allyson is 6 years old now and already knows most of her manners, this collection is a great reminder for her.  Bubble Guppies "The Glitter Games" is her favorite episode on here.  Between the songs and lessons being learned, I think I agree with her!

Right along with Dora the Explorer and Bubble Guppies, you can find Wally Kazam, Team Umizoomi, Blue's Clues and Ni Hao Kai-Lan on this disk.  They each will help teach your Little kindness and manners!

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Return to NYC! on DVD

Disclosure:  I received one or more products in this post in exchange of an honest review.  All opinions are my own.

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Return to NYC! is all about defending their city!  Seven episodes don't seem to be enough for Cooper though.  He loves these green guys!

A few times since receiving this DVD for review, Cooper has asked to watch it.  We sit down and enjoy these crazy turtles as they're defending their city.  These episodes are a part of season three and have been seen on Nickelodeon.  Owning them on DVD is a bonus though!  The disk includes "Mutation Of A Scene", which is a behind-the-scenes look into each episode.

I grew up watching Teenage Mutant Ninja turtles with my brother and love that my children can enjoy these rad dudes in their childhood. I'm sure there are a lot of parents that feel the same way, so let's get on with the giveaway!

Nickelodeon's Bunch of Play Dates on DVD

Disclosure:  I received one or more products in this post in exchange of an honest review.  All opinions are my own.

Calling all Moms who love their children!  Okay, that most likely every female reading this post.  How about Fathers too!!?   Either way....  Cooper and I have another great Nickelodeon DVD to share with you.  This gem was released for purchase today (July 7th) so you really should rush out and pick it up for your Little!

See, I told you!  Dora the Explorer!  Team Umizoomi!  Bubble Guppies!  You'll even find Blue's Clues, Diego, Wonder Pets and Fresh Beat Band while watching these disks.  Three disks filled with great episodes like "The Umi City Treasure Hunt" and "The Iguana Sing Along" will get your children interested and keep them sitting so you can go clean up those dishes for 5 minutes.  It is also okay to sit right along with them and enjoy these adventures!

This 3-pack collection contains over 20 play dates with Cooper's favorite Nickelodeon preschool pals.  You can groove in Dance to the Music, ride along in Rootin' Tootin' Wild West and journey along in Once Upon a Rhyme.  I love each of these DVDs for their learning power.  Cooper thinks he is just sitting, watching TV, but in truth, he is being reinforced with the shapes, numbers and letters I have worked on with him in our every day lives.  They're a really great tool.

Big Little Movies on DVD June 2nd!

Disclosure:  I received one or more products in this post in exchange of an honest review.  All opinions are my own.

Oh, do I have a great group of movies for you here!  The Big Little Movies being released on DVD this week are really great ones!  As you can see, Cooper has his favorite of the 3, but Allyson chose a completely different one!  Cooper goes for Umi Space Heroes.  Ally chose Dora's Explorer Girls: Our First Concert!

Something a little different when it comes to Big Little Movies when comparing to your typical Nickelodeon collection, these DVDs have only 1 episode on them.  They're each about 45 minutes long.  Typically Cooper will get bored because the episodes will change so frequently.  I like that with these, he can sit for the 45 minutes, I can get some work done and he learns a little something!

Ally really enjoyed the Explorer Girls!  They'll take you on an adventure and end with a concert!   When I asked Allyson what she likes about this specific DVD, she said "the way they all worked together and the music!"  So, there you have it!

To round out the Big Little Movies being released, we have a second Dora the Explorer movie!  In Dora Saves Fairytale Land, there are flying witches, a kind lion and of course adventure!  You just can't have Dora without an adventure!

We are enjoying each of these videos on a regular basis.  Keep reading below to learn a little more on the stories!

Dora the Explorer:Whirl and Twirl Collection DVD

Disclosure:  I received one or more products in this post in exchange of an honest review.  All opinions are my own.

So much fun! Ally loved Dora the Explorer when she was younger and really likes the older version now.  Cooper on the other hand likes the younger version.  I'm guessing this is the age difference in my children.  Either way, we are fans of Dora the Explorer in this house!

In this 2-DVD Gift Set, you get Dora's Fantastic Gymnastics Adventures and Dora's Ballet Adventure.  While watching Dora's Fantastic Gymnastics Adventure, you'll also see 2 bonus episodes.  Cooper really likes Swiper's Favorite Things.  When you pop Dora's Ballet Adventures in, you'll get a choice of 4 total episodes.  The Super Silly Fiesta is one of Ally's all time favorite episodes of all Dora the Explorer, so you know that one has been on repeat!

Be sure to pick up this collection on June 2nd!  We're loving it and I'm sure the Littles in your house will too!
