Kabobs are a great way to feed the family. I have been asking for a propane grill for years. The husband is partial to charcoal, but either way... You can grill Kabobs and they'll be delicious!
My friends have always been big fans of Kabobs. I ate kabobs while at their homes but never at my own home. This all changed when I got a chance to try out the Kabob Skewers Rack by Cave Tools. Now all I can think about is how I can use this rack! I came up with my Top 3 Reasons why I love to Kabob and decided to share them with you.
1. Delicious! There is just something about the way food tastes when it is cooked properly on a kabob. Cave Tools created this very handy rack that you can rest your neatly/sloppy/delicious kabobs on while they are hanging out on the grill. No worry about the food sticking to your grates either! This rack sits above the grates and no contact is made between grill and food. I am a firm believer that this is what has made my dinner so delicious. Kabobs that I didn't have to scrape off the grill! BONUS!
2. You can put whatever you want on the skewer! Peppers! Chicken! Onions! Tomatoes! Steak! If you can stick the skewer through it, do it! Any combo is a great one. A little tip: sprinkle some lemon juice on it before you cook. Flavor added and Ooo So Good!
3. Mess is minimal! You have food. On a stick. Food on a Stick!! We've been eating hotdogs covered in cornmeal on a stick since forever, so why not enjoy your meat and veggies on a stick too! As you can tell, I am excited about this. Less mess for Mom in the end.
While I've fallen in love with Kabobs at home, I have to talk about this handy Kabob Rack. The skewers are sharp enough to poke through the meat and veggies but not so sharp you are going to cut your finger off. While the whole skewer is metal, you do need to use some form of barrier when turning them over the flame. The whole skewer does get hot.
When I asked a few Moms on their love for Kabobs, I got answers like:
"Because they're delicious!" - Tina
"No silverware needed!" - Amanda
"Tons of possibilities!" - Laura
"Kids can manage their own!" - SarahNow that we've established that kids and Moms approve all around, go out and get yourself a Cave Tools Kabob Skewers Rack. I'm already planning my next meal with using it! I'm going to a BBQ chicken, peppers, onions and tomatoes skewer dinner! It's going to be wonderful, I know it!
