Smartie-Pants Jar for National Teacher Appreciation Day

Today is National Teacher Appreciation Day!  Allyson and I wanted to do something really cute for her teacher.  This is her first year in school, so we have to start the tradition of saying "Thank You" for the great work they are doing for her and her friends!

Being that I am a silly mom and like plays on words, we went with the following gift............

This gift was super easy to make.  I grabbed the jar and 2 bags of smarties from the Dollar Tree.  The ribbon was laying around in my house and the blue paper came from our scrap bucket!  Super easy and Super cheap way to say "Thank You!"

    What a great idea, and I think that every teacher out there deserves something special like this, I know they work so hard not only teaching but often having to be a parent to some .
