On this Friday, I have so many reasons to be happy. We spent the morning swimming with friends, the afternoon at the grocery store and playing outside. The kids brighten my day. Most of all, this little girl brightens my day.
In just 5 short years of her life, she has proved to be a strong willed, big hearted, sassy one, but I love every bit of her! Today she learned how to trust herself and respect the water while swimming. She also learned that if you are patient, Mommy will get to her when there is time. There was time to play outside before dinner, and that is what we did! The smiles I saw on her face and in her eyes are worth the extra minutes outside. Dinner may have been 20 minutes later than scheduled, but I'll do it all over again, just to see her smiles.
