Taking the ham out of the packaging is rather easy. It is double wrapped to contain the extra juices. The wraps were not stuck to the ham in any way.
So after I unwrapped our ham, it was ready to go into the oven. I did wrap it in foil to ensure there wouldn't be a problem with drying out. I cooked the ham for about 35 minutes at 350 degrees. My thermometer alerted me of the internal temperature at 143 degrees when I pulled the ham out.
As you can see, the meat was falling over, so ready to be on my plate! The slices came off the bone very easily. Honey glaze caramelized perfectly and so sweet! I like my ham a little sweet and smokey. This ham was just that! Lucky for me I have left overs for sandwiches and meals coming in the next couple of days! I'm so excited!
We will be giving away a similar ham to a reader soon! Watch for the giveaway! In the meantime, check out The Tender Filet on their website and on social media!
