Learning and Having Fun with KleenSlate! --KleenSlate Concepts Review

Ally is turning 5 next month, so naturally we are working hard on our letters and numbers.  I am so proud of her!  She has come so far!  A few months ago when we started to get serious about writing out our letters we were using paper.  Oh, the trees we probably killed with the amount of paper that she practiced her name on.  We wont be killing any more trees now that we have KleenSlate!

The KleenSlate Dry Erase Paddle System is a lot of fun! This system can be used for educational purposes, notes inside the home, at work, in hospitals, and even anytime you are on the go!  My primary thought was to help Ally learn her letters when I heard about KleepSlate Concepts.  So far, that has turned out great!  We do have a lot of good times with our KleenSlate Boards!

Look at her!!  I couldn't be more proud!  This morning the first thing she wanted to do was get her KleenSlate and practice her letters again!

If you have someone that needs practice or you simply just want to have some fun with KleenSlate, look them up on their website and social media!

  2. That is very cool. I have something kind of similar for my six year old and I found that is has been SO helpful in getting his writing a little better!

  3. This sounds like a great product for those starting out in school and for homeschool parents teaching her little ones as well. Will have to look into something like this when my own little one gets older.

  4. KleenSlate Concepts is a great idea, not only for young ones learning to write, but for me too. I was just on their website and they have these hand held ones that would be great for a game we are doing at our Thanksgiving Celebration. Plus, I have the family cookoff coming up in February.

  5. Oh my I would have loved that as a child - I have to admit I was fascinated by anything you could use over and over again. What a great tool :) x

  6. That really would save a lot of trees--with the amount of notes I write myself it seems daily I go through lots of paper-of course I do use envelopes that come with junk in it for notes also--but this could be hung up so I would not forget where I put that darn slip of paper!!

  8. This is such an awesome product. My niece is currently learning her letters and could really benefit from a product like this, so I'm going to make sure to tell my sister about it. I'm sure they go through gobs of paper just like you did! :)

  9. That is great! I have been wanting to get the paper that is designed like that for my daughter, but that looks so much easier and less of a mess. I will have to check it out, thanks!

  10. I love any program that not only incorporates technology but also promotes literacy. I think it is great that you are so proactive in supporting your child in learning to read and write.

  11. How I wish my mom had those when I was a kiddo! I went through a bazillion pieces of paper writing prior to kindergarten. Poor trees :(

  13. We have something like this and I love it. My son is learning to write so it saves a lot of trees. If I want to keep a memory of his first attempts, I take a photo.

  14. I love dry erase products. You can do so many different things with them. When my kids were young, it was our way of communicating what needed to be done.

  16. Kleen Slate looks like a great tool for teaching your child to write. It is also a very green concept. I have lots of friends with preschoolers who would enjoy this. Sharing now.
