They say you should drink at least half of your body weight in ounces. This doesn't coincide with the eight 8oz glasses they say you should have, unless you weigh 128lbs. Let's be realistic... I know I do not weigh 128 pounds and probably never will, so my body needs a lot more than 8 glasses of water in a day!
I saw this idea online and tailored it to myself a little bit. All I did was took an empty gallon jug, washed it out very well and set my schedule. As the my marker is wearing off now, I plan to change up my times to fit my day a little better, but you get the idea!
Pour Me!
Drink Up!
Chug It!
Hydrate!
Did you workout?!
More!
Guzzle!
Keep Going!
Finish that water!
Your Body Needs Me!
Thirsty? I thought so!

I could go on and on with the inspirational things you could label your jug with. Whatever you decide to put on your jug, just make sure you're getting your water in!
The benefits I've seen from using this have been awesome. In the first week of drinking from my jug I lost 6 pounds of water weight. SIX POUNDS!! It was ridiculous how much water my body was storing up because it wasn't sure when it would get more. Its a little backwards than most thinking, but if you don't drink enough water, your body will store what you do give it for a later date. I also felt like I had a little more energy. My body wasn't so sluggish.
I have been using my jug for 5 months, every day and will not go back to drinking whatever, whenever. The schedule makes me accountable. Drinking my water has becoming something I rely on to feel great!
Have you made your jug yet?
I have made my jug! :) The little phrases and time lines are helpful and motivating! I fell off the bandwagon only because my original jug got a hole in the bottom so I had to trade it out for a new one...I have to mark the new one and then I'll be back on track! Hydration is IMPORTANT!! :)
