My veggies are now Spiralized! -- Kitchen Supreme Spiral Slicer Review

Often times I see these really awesome tools to make really awesome food.  You know what I'm talking about.  Tools that can take a vegetable and turn it into something similar to spaghetti!  Say WHAT!!!  Yep, you read that right.  Vegetables that are transformed into spaghetti.  I am doing this now with my new Spiral Slicer by Kitchen Supreme!

What I find so great about this little tool, is the fact that I can take a long zucchini, simply twist it inside this spiral slicer and it comes out in long strips.   It's amazing!  Veggies into long noodle like food!  I love it!

You'll notice above I was left with a little bit of a nub, but it was so small i just cut it up with a knife and threw it in the water with everything else.  Just check out those long noodles!

After I boiled the veggie noodles for a few minutes, I drained and topped with my favorite red sauce, salt and pepper.  Pretty tasty if I don't say so myself!

Lifeguard is a Lifesaver! -- Lifeguard Mini Portable Charger Review

The wind is blowing.  Your name is Suzy and you are returning home from a movie with your best girl friends, Ashley, Joy and Sarah.  You notice the neighborhood is dark.  You finally make it home and realize no one around you has power.  This could be interesting since you have hosting these three girl friends for the weekend.  Darn the windy storm coming though!

Just then you notice you have 10% left of your cell phone battery.  Ugh, of course you do!  What do you do now?  Well, of course you break out your Lifeguard Mini Portable Charger!

The Lifeguard Mini Portable Charger allowed us to charge up the phone enough to call her power company to report our outage.  Beyond that, we were able to keep a phone plugged into it and listen to some music while we sat around candles and chatted like old hens!

After using the Lifeguard Charger for a few weeks now I've learned I can charge my iPhone 2.5 times before it needs it's own recharging.   With that being said, let me explain a little on how this thing works.  You plug it into the wall or computer and it will gain battery life.  Simply plug it in using the USB chord that it comes with.  I also learned that you may use a kindle chord as a last resort if you are in need of charging your Lifeguard.

Not only is this device great for charging my iPhone, I let it give life back to my Kindle!

Oh the places I have used the Lifeguard Mini Portable Charger.....  When the power was out, in the child pickup lane while waiting for Ally to come out of the school, while out for the day shopping, and even at a Girl Scouts Cookie Booth -- I have to make sure I have a ton of phone life so I can get these cute faces in photos!

If I haven't convinced you of why I absolutely the Lifeguard Mini Portable Charger, you will just have to get it for yourself and see!  It has been a lifesaver and everyone needs to have one of these.  I would recommend one for each person in your family.  So many devices these days -- No reason to run out of battery life!

Tootsie Roll Hot Cocoa Review and Giveaway

When it comes to Hot Chocolate deliciousness, I usually think of a mug of cocoa with little marshmallows.  The marshmallows add to the greatness that is chocolate warmed up.  I never thought it could get any better, but think about it!  Just think....  Tootsie Rolls hot cocoa -- Sugar Babies hot cocoa -- Charleston Chew hot cocoa -- Is your mouth watering yet?

Glowing Day and Night -- Glow Stick Review

When you're a child, you like just about anything that can grab your attention.  When you're an adult your tastes might change but you still like the pretty lights.  These lights are even better in the dark!  This belief has lead me to getting really exciting about completing this review.  Ally and Cooper had a lot of fun, but I think I enjoyed it most as their smiles warm my heart so!

GLOW STICKS!!!  These are the best way to entertain your children in the day and especially the dark!  This purchase came with 100 glow bracelets and 100 connectors.  The connectors are very handy for me as I don't have a child sized neck.  Just snap a few of those connectors and bracelets together and BAM!  I have a new necklace!  

In the dark they look even better!  You see, my children enjoy glow sticks in the day and night.  Doesn't matter where you are or if you can see the great quality.  I am happy to say though, as you can see in the picture, these sticks did glow in the bright Florida sunshine!

We Play -- ebook Review

I chose to do a book review for a Level 1 Readers as Allyson is in Kindergarten and starting to read on her own.  Watching her blossom has been such a great treat for me as her mom.  I worked really hard with her before she started school and along with all of the great tools she has learned at school, she is reading at a level 1 and will be going to the next level in no time!

We Play is about a boy and a girl that play together.  They start by swinging at the park.  of course the words in the story are to the point for the Level 1 Reader.  They move onto other great places around their neighborhood like the big tree, and end the book while biking home.

The illustrations are unique and Ally really enjoyed them.   She is at a point where silly cartoons aren't interesting her as much as what is going on in real life.  This lead me to being very happy that We Play's illustrations are lifelike.

Pick up We Play by Katrina Streza today!  My Level 1 Reader loves it, and I'm sure yours would too!

Comfortable Listening in Bed -- Bedphones Review

It's bedtime!  So many nights my husband will go to bed and watch a movie on his tablet or want to listen to music.  As I am a reader while in bed, he is considerate of me and wears headphones.  This helps me concentrate on what I'm reading so I can enjoy my story!  Bedphones work great for us!

These headphones are perfect for my so sweet husband!   They are soft to the touch and not very thick so he can lay down and they don't hurt his ears.  The wires go up and around the ear, then stretch behind you.  This is a big deal for my husband's relaxing pleasure.  He isn't a fan of the wires around the front of his neck.

The travel case that you will find with your Bedphones is a handy tool!  Husband travels a little for work, so it is great that he has a way to protect his Bedphones.  Otherwise I'm sure we'd be replacing them every so many months.   You'll also find replacement foams are also included.

Happy Holiday Mornings with Brooklyn Beans -- Brooklyn Bean Roastery Review

We start our days with caffeine.  Some sit in the drive thru lane at their favorite coffee shops, and some like to enjoy a cup from home.  Either way, you love that liquid deliciousness that we want/enjoy/just plain NEED!  This holiday I am brewing up some Brooklyn Bean Roastery's coffee!

We believe that in coffee making, as in life there, are rules that need to be followed (wadaya mean I can’t park here?!?) Our simple rule for good coffee making is that what you put into it is exactly what you’ll get out of it and our goal is to consistently get the best-tasting cup of coffee around from our process.

Brooklyn Bean Roastery has so many options when it comes to what flavor you'd like to try.  I am lucky enough to have the Variety Pack at my finger tips.  Flavors like Breakfast Blend, Coney Island Caramel, Fuhgeddaboutit, , Hazelnut, and Vanilla Skyline can be found in this pack.  This isn't all of the options though.  So many to name, I'd be here for a bit!  You can always just check out the options yourself!  

Our of all of the flavors in this pack, I've found Hazelnut to be my favorite.  I like the nuttiness in the flavor.  I add a little almond milk and sugar to my cup, but the hazelnut flavor is perfect!  Next up, I enjoy the Maple Sleigh.  This was almost like I was enjoying a cup of coffee with a little bit of pancake syrup added!  

I am finding Brooklyn Bean Roastery's coffee to be smooth and quite tasty!  I'm thinking Santa Claus needs to fill my stocking with k-cups.  The perfect stocking stuffer!
