Back to School with Save-A-Lot

Schools are back in session all over America!  Thank Goodness!! Whoohoooo, Momma can rest.  Oh wait, the kids still need to be fed?  They're demanding to have something nutritious over the lunch hour?  Blasphemy!  Who was the crazy person that said parents get a break when the kids go back to school?  Wasn't me!

Anyway, to the kitchen we go!  Allyson is a big fan of making her own sandwich while she sits with her friends at lunch.  Give her two crackers, a little meat and a little cheese and that girl is set!  Easy for Ally to put together, easy for me to put together.  Everyone is happy!

What makes me even happier is picking up everything I need for the kid's lunch in one place.  Save-A-Lot has me covered!  I can get in and out of the store with minimal fuss and more money in my pocketbook.   The prices on their meat, cheese and crackers are very comparable to similar supermarkets in our area.  Even better, their produce section made me smile.  I love sticking in some fresh fruit to keep Ally going through her day.

Save-A-Lot has great food, great prices and great people.  The employees are my favorite part.  Everyone is welcoming and helpful.  Just yesterday morning I wandered around the store just taking my time as I didn't have a child with me.  Momma needed some "Me Time" at the grocery store.  I was asked if I needed help finding anything and welcomed with a warm smile at the check out.  It was a pretty great shopping experience.  Find the closest Save-A-Lot near you to enjoy your shopping experience.
