You are My Sunshine -- bobee Wall Decal Review

Coming up on six years ago I gave birth to my favorite little girl in the whole world.  This little girl has given me six years of smiles, cries, attitude and I know we are only beginning.  Notice I did mention smiles in that list!  The attitudes will come and go but the LOVE and MEMORIES that the smiles bring will remain forever.

Many people say their children at their Sunshine.  I am one of those people as both of my children breathe life into my every day and bring the light needed to go forth and see the happiness. The happiness in the world is clouded so much by hate and ugly that we need to be reminded of the Sunshine every now and again.


bobee asked me to do a review of their You are my Sunshine Wall Decal.  With the way I feel about my children being my Sunshine, I jumped at this opportunity.  Wall Decals seem to be all the rave right now, so this was a perfect opportunity for a daily reminder to my daughter and to add some decoration to her room!


See?  Isn't this a beautiful decal?  My daughter came home and said "Mom, what does this say?"  So we sounded it out and when she understand what it said, she got a big smile on her face, followed by a big hug for Mom!  With moments like this, you can understand why she and her brother are my Sunshine!

Okay, a little more about the decal.  It is super easy to install as long as you follow the directions.  The directions state to make sure the wall is clean.  Take your time installing the decal. Also, if you need, you can watch a very handy tutorial posted on YouTube.


The only advice I have for you when installing your decal is to make sure you remove the sheet slowly.  The decal will stretch if you go too fast, and in some cases will not stick to the wall unless you force it to.  This is with any decal though, so I cannot say this is a bobee problem.  Just a normal decal characteristic!

    That is super cute. I love wall decals. I Have 3 of them in my house and they are a cool way to decorate.

    I love wall decals, they're such an easy way to add some pizzazz to a room. "You Are My Sunshine" was my daughter's wedding song.

    I LOVE Wall Decals, they are so easy and if you decided you don't like them you can just take them off as easy as they went on. I have been thinking about putting a new one in my livingroom so I will have to check them out!

    Very nice. I used to sing "You are my Sunshine" to my kiddos. This made me smile. I love that it was easy and yet, looks awesome. I also loved that you sounded it out with her until she knew what it said. Great!
