Over the weekend a highly anticipated My Little Pony event happened for our family! My Little Pony Equestria Girls: Rainbow Rocks was released in the movie theaters! So excited because both Cooper and Ally enjoy My Little Pony. The Mom in the family may have been a tad bit excited too!
You see, it all started with...............
Movie Tickets!! Beautiful My Little Pony Equestria Girls: Rainbow Rocks movie tickets!! These tickets came to us on a day that I told my daughter she needed to get 4 more shots. Something got crossed in her medical records and she is short by a couple. This is a HUGE problem as my daughter absolutely despises all medical offices and shots pretty much kill her soul. I know she will make it out on the other side with a few tears but I crashed all her dreams the day these tickets came. Luckily, I hadn't told her about the fun time we'd have. Sharing this with her made her day a little brighter! YAY for My Little Pony!!
When Sunday rolled around, Allyson woke up early. Very early. We painted our nails and waiting for Noon to roll around. Finally it was time to head to the movie! After getting our tickets, my girl's popcorn and a soda, it was finally time!!
The picture is a little dark, but of course it is! We were waiting for the movie to start!
As the mother of a 5 yr old watching this movie, I sat back and enjoyed the excitement on Ally's face. I enjoyed the message in the movie. My Little Pony has come a long way since I was a little girl, but the message is always the same. Friendships are important and if you stick together and do the right thing, you will prevail! Who can't stand behind that?
Ally said she likes the characters better as ponies, but she does love the Equestria Girls! "They're friends and I like that." was her official review!
This movie poster is screaming for you to go watch the movie in the theater! Check out where you can see it by vising Screen Vision!
