Getting my Protein in! -- Garden of Life Review

Disclosure:  I received the following products for review purposes.  There was no monetary compensation.  Regardless, all opinions are my own.

It seems there are so many different ways to get in your protein.  You can do a shake, a bar, eat it in your meal by having chicken, peanuts, fish, etc.  You get my point.  With all of the dietary issues I've been having, I set out on a mission to find a protein shake my body could handle.  You can probably understand the excitement when I came across Garden of Life's RAW Protein products and they agreed to let me do a review!

At Garden of Life, we believe such a world is possible, and that together, we can make it happen.
Garden of Life was founded to help empower others to attain extraordinary health. This is our mission at Garden of Life and the principles behind this mission are carried out by Garden of Life's innovative health and wellness regimens.

Among the many options they have from this line, I choose  RAW FitRAW Protein, and RAW Meal.  It was very hard to choose which products I wanted, all because of the high quality line they offer.  I am glad I went with these three products!
You see, what lead me to choosing these products is where I am in my personal journey to better my life.  I needed a product that was Gluten Free and Dairy Free!  The RAW products can also be considered Vegan!

I started with the RAW Fit right away!  This product is a High Protein for Weight Loss.  I had high hopes and was very excited to notice a taste and texture that were pleasant.  The shakes were a little gritty, but not like others I've had.  A small bit of grittiness and a flavor that paired great with bananas, strawberries and even blueberries at one point.  I mixed all of the shakes with Almond Milk and fruits.  While this product did make me gassy, it is one of the better protein shakes I've tried.

The RAW Protein I chose to try the Chocolate Cacao flavor.  The flavor and texture are great on this one as well.  I remained full until meal time, occasionally adding in a snack.  The RAW Protein formula is an excellent source of protein, containing live probiotics and enzymes.  This is a big plus for me as my doctor is always telling me to get the good bacteria in to help fight the bad!

Last I want to share with you RAW Meal.  I used this product as intended.  I mixed a packet up with almond milk and went about my way!  Nice and full until snack time and sometimes I made it to meal time!

If you are looking for a great protein shake, I urge you to take a look at Garden of Life's RAW line.  I've enjoyed them and I think you will too.
