Fitness Friday (4/25)

This week a lot regarding my health happened.  I had a check up with my doctor on things as far as my thyroid and intolerances.  As I am not able to lose any weight, she has instructed me to get back to staying away from all items that came back with allergies 6 months ago.  That list includes: Gluten, Dairy, Eggs, Beef, Oranges, Bananas, and Chocolate.  ugh.  That's all I can say.  I know that I felt 100% better when I wasn't eating any of these things, so it only makes sense to get back there and stop with the temptations.

I wasn't able to get out and run as much as I would have hoped before of rain.  I welcome the rain as it has turned my grass green, but I need to get out there and move this body!  Without moving it, I may stay dealing with the same 5 pounds up and down forever.

Not such a thumbs up for the weight gain, but thumbs up for my effort.  This next week I have set goals I will be setting.  I had a conversation yesterday about how I never set goals for myself because I never reach them.  I don't have enough want or drive to actually acheive them.  I am a person that gets in my own way, just to sabotage the whole progress.  I believe this is what is happening here.  I need to get out of my own head and get it done.  Its Spring time.. I want to lose about 15 pounds before I go home in 2 months, and that sounds like a big number, but I think I can do it. 

Goals for the week:  
Track calories closely and be aware of what is going in my body.
Stay away from all food intolerances.
Have only 2 rest days.
