Finding a New Friend at Build-A-Bear Workshop Review

When I was a little girl Build-A-Bear Workshop moved into the mall where I lived!  I was so excited!  I begged my parents to take me there so I could build a new friend!  Playing and sleeping with my soft and furry friends was something that brought me great joy!  I can say the same for my daughter's relationship with these soft and furry friends.

At Build-A-Bear Workshop®, our mission is to bring the Teddy Bear to life. An American icon, the Teddy Bear brings to mind warm thoughts about our childhood, about friendship, about trust and comfort, and also about love. Build-A-Bear Workshop embodies those thoughts in how we run our business everyday.

A few weeks ago Allyson got my attention while she was watching cartoons.  She said "MOM!!!!!! Can we got to Build-A-Bear Workshop?  I want to go soooooo bad!"  Of course this got my brain working a little and thought to myself, "What a great Valentine's Day gift for her!"  This wouldn't be the firs time I've gifted a friend from Build-A-Bear.  A few years back I built "Hawker" for my husband.  Please forgive me for clothing him in this shirt.  I got brownie points from my husband though!

Since I knew this would be perfect for Ally, I was super thrilled when Build-A-Bear Workshop agreed to work with me for our Valentine's Day Gift Guide!  For Valentine's Day, Build-A-Bear Workshop has a few really cute options!  They have bears, kitties, elephants, ponies, the list just goes on and on!  I chose to work with this beautiful Lion! The stuffed animal is 15 inches of soft and love!  He came fully dressed from head to toe!  His clothes are removable, which is great for us.  We are always washing our little friend's clothes for one reason or another.  Heartthrob Huge Hearted Lion also comes with a "Say it with heart" Message Hugger Pillow!  This pillow has elastic on each side, allowing the lion to wear it as a backpack if so preferred!

I'd like to now introduce you to Mr. Joey Heart.  Ally's eyes lit up so bright when she pulled him out of his little home inside the box!  Just watch this video.......

It didn't take much time for Ally to come up with his name.  First it was "Heart."  Then it was "Mr. Heart."  Finally she settled on "Mr. Joey Heart."  I think its perfect!  Mr. Joey Heart didn't take much time getting acquainted with Ally's other furry friends.  Please enjoy these next photos shot by Allyson!

Ally and this Heartthrob Huge Hearted Lion are a perfect match!  I was able to catch a beautiful moment they shared while Ally was napping through our snow day!

We have a giveaway going on right now that you can enter to win a $25 gift card to use at Build-A-Bear Workshop!  Its just a click away, so go HERE!  The giveaway does end soon though... So don't wait too long!
