An afternoon of Puzzles and Learning -- The Learning Journey Review

Learning while we play is a big part of growing up.  Both of my children play with toys that will teach them things about life and scholastics.  When I was given the chance to do a review for The Learning Journey, I wanted to find a few products that would fit my children perfectly.  This is where these puzzles came into play!

The Learning Journey has been designing and manufacturing an exclusive line of award-winning children's interactive educational products. All products at The Learning Journey encourage learning and develop confidence as they enhance a child's potential. All products build on the skills necessary for children to be prepared for school and beyond.
The Learning Journey opened its doors in 1995 and is now in numerous international markets with products in multiple languages, including a large range of bilingual products. As The Learning Journey manufactures and distributes its own exclusive product line, our products offer excellent value for your money while at the same time offering you high educational value.
With The Learning Journey's complete range of interactive products, children have fun while learning and parents and educators know they have the right quality educational products for their children.

When I opened the box to remove these smaller boxes containing the puzzles, both children were standing there eagerly waiting to play!  I shared in their excitement when I noticed the bright colors on the puzzles I chose for them!  First up, we put together the puzzle I chose for Cooper.

The Journey to the Past puzzle is a 30 piece puzzle with very large pieces. The pieces fit together perfectly and are quite thick.  This is perfect for my son's little hands.  He has watched Ally and I put puzzles together before but this was the first time helping out.  He helped out like a champ!  We even heard a few episodes of "RAWR!!!" when were were finished with the puzzle!

Of course right after finishing the Dino Puzzle, Ally wanted to put her Alphabet Puzzle together!  This one was a little more difficult.  It has 50 pieces with bright colors on each piece.  Once we got going, Ally was able to tell me quite a few of the letters as we have been working on them.  This is a great tool to remind her how things fit together, but also about her ABCs and the importance of practicing.  We walked through the pictures sounding out the letter and tracing with our fingers.  I loved seeing the progress she made this afternoon alone, because of this puzzle.

I would recommend The Learning Journey International's products to anyone that is looking to have fun and learn at the same time!  They have a lot of products that range from puzzles to electronic games.  Check them out for Little.  I know you'll find something that can help in the learning process!

  1. My 6 year old had something like that when she was 4 years old. Kids look like they had a blast putting the Alphabet and Dino puzzle together.
