Potty Training with Karibu Baby! -- Karibu Cushion Step Potty Review

As Cooper is just over 2 years old, we are deep in the throws of Potty Training.  He is a rather large child, so the normal ideas are not working for him.  I had to place him in training pants at 18 months because they do not make diapers big enough for him.  We could let him run around naked, but cleaning up potty stains on the carpet is not my cup of tea.  Finally we tried specialty diapers that sound an alarm when he goes in them, so he can associate the feeling to the toilet.  Now that we have established how my little man feels when he needs to use the potty, we have called in Karibu Baby to help him get onto the potty!

At Karibu Baby, we understand how precious your little ones are.
We've made it our top priority to provide you with the highest quality and safest products for your baby's first years.
Karibu Baby offers a wide range of products to serve all your baby needs and give you a peace of mind.

The Karibu Cushion Step Potty is very easy to use.  It came out of the box with a little assembly required, but nothing this Momma couldn't handle!  The sides fold up for easy storage, where the seat and step are connected by plastic screws.

This Cushion Step Potty sits easily right on the toilet.  You can remove it for an adult to sit down as well.  I love this feature!  Although, we have decided to keep the Cushion Step Potty on the toilet at all times and the adults will just walk a little further to the back bathroom.

We love the Karibu Cushion Step Potty in our home.  Cooper has no problem hanging onto the sides, slowly turning around and then sitting down!  We are still a good distance away from being Potty Trained, but with Karibu in the game, I know we are at least one step closer to reaching the goal!

  1. Where was that when I was potty training my boys?? That looks like it's perfect and would definitely be more comfortable for the kids.

  3. That has to be the cutest potty chair I've ever seen! Love it! I just got a niece for Christmas. While she's a few years away from this, I'll definitely pass it on to my brother for future reference!

  4. Man, am I so glad we are passed needing one of these! I really hated using a standard potty chair, so this would have been wonderful in our training process. My niece is expecting soon. I think this would make a great baby shower gift for her!

  13. We had one just like this and it was so much better than those little ones on the floor. My son wanted to use the big potty without fear of falling in. This was perfect.

  19. How cool! We are potty training now and the biggest issue is my daughter getting on and off the pot without help. I will have to look into this.

  21. This is very cute! It's great that the kid doesn't have to go to her own toilet. The baby could use mommy's/daddy's toilet!

  22. Ours broke after about a year - the screw kept falling out. But I did like it while it worked...
