Measuring my Meals with Meal Measure -- Meal Measure Review

Its January.  I have seen most people making New Years Resolutions to lose weight.  It is crazy to think of how many people say they are going to lose weight and then they don't have a plan.  They never change the way they eat, or even move their body a little more than they did the previous year.  Its a vicious cycle, but with Meal Measure, you can change that cycle!

Meal Measure is rapidly becoming a well-known dietary aid in many fields of health and wellness. It has been featured on the Dr. Oz Show and the Today Show along with many other media outlets. Meal Measure is ideal for managing or losing weight, an excellent guide for diabetes patients, a great item to educate.
The Meal Measure was created by a working mom, a former lunch room attendant who is passionate about using portion control for a healthier diet.

The Meal Measure Portion Control Plate is very easy to use.  The directions on the box instruct you to place Meal Measure on your plate.  Fill portions based on your diet.  Lift Meal Measure off your place and food will be in correct portions.  See?  Very easy!  Inside the portion spots, there is a line that shows you when you are at 1/2 cup and filled all the way is a whole cup.  Clean up is easy as Meal Measure is dishwasher safe!

I am currently deep into a journey to finding a healthier me.  I know so very well that working out will aid in weight loss, but I remain a firm believer that weight loss starts in the kitchen.   If you are eating junk or eating way too much of one thing, you will not see results no matter how many miles you run.  Meal Measure is going to help me stay accountable with watching my portions and making sure my meals are balanced!

  3. I think it matters a good deal what you're eating too. And I like your phrase 'healthier me,' that is the ultimate goal.

  5. This is a brilliant idea! I never know how much an actual portion is. This would really help me get those portions under control!

  6. What so many people don't realize is that your weight actually has more to do with the foods you eat than the exercise that you do. While physical exercise is of course important, you won't lose any weight if you're eating poorly, even if you are working out a lot. This seems like a practical tool that could really help many people on their weight loss journeys. I wish you the best with yours! :)

  7. That would be great for those with certain health problems. I know when I was doing the candida diet, I had to eat a certain percentage of vegetables, protein and very few carbs.

  8. I always wonder how much serving I should put on my plate. This plate would be perfect for me and my new years resolution.

  9. Health does begin in the kitchen with what we eat! Real Food is the best choice always. Eliminating processed package frankenfoods is a great way to get healthy, and reduce weight. I have been gluten free, wheat free and grain free for 2 years now and feel better than I have in my adult life, and have reduced my weight by 25 lbs without ever feeling hungry. Thanks for sharing! Best Regards, Wendy

  13. Portion control is one of the hardest things for me about weight loss. I can't visualize my piece of beef as a deck of cards. This is such a good idea!

  14. That is so clever, I have always used a scale but this is easier I think. I am trying to teach my kids about portion size so this would be really easy for them.

  15. I like that it is visual. Gives you an idea on how to gauge food when you are not at home and are eating out.
