Being Prepared with eMeals -- eMeals Review

How many times have you forgotten to set something out for dinner?  Forgetting to set the meat out can lead to loading everyone in the car and getting drive-thru.  This is a big hit to your pocket book.  I know a lot of us are trying to plan better, but sometimes you just forget.  eMeals can help save you from this!

Both Jane and Jenny are active moms, devoted wives, and very, very busy. Jane was frazzled over trying to pull off dinner for the family week after week. Her meal plans were scribbled on napkins and lost in her purse. So she went to work creating a better way to make meals happen. Along the way, Jane recruited Jenny, who is not only a fabulous cook, but also happens to be her sister.

Working with a talented team of meal planners, experienced home cooks and technical gurus, they developed eMeals to feed their families and preserve their sanity. Hundreds of thousands of relationships later, Jane and Jenny built a way to make moms’ lives easier — and to bring families together at mealtime.

When you sign up for eMeals you can choose a meal plan that fits your lifestyle. There are 13 choices!  I chose the Gluten Free meal plan.  A few others that caught my eye were Clean Eating and Paleo.  These are both due to health issues we deal with in my family.  After choosing which meal plan I wanted, it was time to tell them how many people are in my family and how long I wanted to use the service.  After that, all done!  Simple and easy!  That's how I like to start my meal planning, simple and easy!

Every Wednesday eMeals sends me my weekly meal plan.  There are some days that I throw in one of eMeals options.  The great thing about these meals is, they aren't typically something I'd think about eating.  I am a very simple person when it comes to making dinner.  The recipes are simple, so they fit me perfectly, but they aren't always on the top of my mind when I'm thinking of making dinner.  This week I am excited to try the  Heart Healthy Chili with Baked Corn Tortilla Chips.  Doesn't that just sound delicious?

Recently eMeals launched a couple new options on top of their already awesome meal plans!  They've added a 500 Calorie Meal Plan and 7 Day Eating Challenges for you!  Not only can eMeals help you stay on top of things with being prepared, but they want to help you find a healthier version of yourself too!

Check out eMeals and make sure you aren't like this family.

  4. I just went in to check and they do have a meal planner for 1 - 2 people and one that is low in carbs! (I am diabetic). I also like that you can put the store you shop at for additional savings--that always helps.

  5. I am the worst meal planner EVER, so I could totally use something like this. It would keep me from running around like a chicken with my head cut off at dinner time.

  24. I like the whole idea behind eMeals. Unfortunately they don't have a lot of options for Indian cooking or food. I wish they had that.

  25. I could really use this service! I never have anything planned, then I have to make trips to the grocery store at the last minute. I of course always end up getting other stuff I don't need and wasting money.
