Appreciating my Pets with John Paul Pet -- John Paul Pet Review

Let's talk about Lilly and Danny today.  They are the canine portion of our family.  Lilly is a Shepherd Mix and Danny a combination of Yellow Labrador and Akita.  Beautiful dogs, if I don't say so myself.  They are always beautiful, but sometimes these dogs can get pretty dirty.  They have muddy paws and stink!  Oh how they stink!  Lucky for me, John Paul Pet sent us a few products to get rid of their smell and keep their coats beautiful!

30 years ago John Paul DeJoria, co-founder of John Paul Mitchell Systems, revolutionized the professional salon industry by banning animal testing for his line of hair products. John Paul’s in-depth expertise in hair and skin care formulations also led to research in new standards for pet grooming and hygiene, which lead to the creation of John Paul Pet shampoos, conditioners, sprays and pet wipes.
John Paul Pet shampoos and conditioners are pH balanced so they don’t irritate sensitive pet skin and the entire line is “tested on humans first” to ensure effectiveness and safety for all pets. John Paul Pet actively supports programs benefiting all animals, including Best Friends Animal Society, The Morris Animal Foundation, PAWS, The California Wildlife Association, The Humane Society of the United States, as well as numerous Humane Society of America and SPCA events, pet rescue organizations and pet charities nationwide.

John Paul Pet makes products for dogs, cats and horses.  The quality is hands down ranked high in my book.  Over the last 6 years of having my dogs, this is the most thorough shampooing product I have come across.  While we were shampooing Danny, he did very well with just standing there and enjoying it.

We used the Super Bright Shampoo on Danny. The Super Bright Shampoo is made for light and dark colored coats. It is fortified with aloe vera gel, hydrolyzed oats, chamomile and sweet almond oil. The consistency of the soap is medium, not too runny and not too thick.

After bath time and the dogs dried, we sprayed them with the Instant Detangling Spray.  I really enjoy the scent of this No-Rinse Conditioner.  Just a couple quick sprays and they are extra soft and smelling good!  This is a plus for me, especially with Danny as he is so thick and the wet dog smell sticks with him.  I no longer have to suffer from that horrid smell!  Take a look at how soft Danny looks after his bath and Detangling Spray application........

The Ear & Eye Wipes are great as well.  Every day I have to wipe the dog's eyes from their gunky stuff, or sleep as one might think of it.  I usually use a wet wash cloth, but nothing special on the cloth will keep infection away.  These wipes are made to provide the optimum level in pet care hygiene, cleaning, deodorizing, comfort and safety.  I have noticed after a few days of using these wipes, Lilly's eyes aren't so bad the next day!

My dogs don't always enjoy cleaning up, but as we have been using John Paul Pet, they don't fight as much during the process. The scent of the shampoo reminds me of Paul Mitchell products. The smell has always meant quality to me, and I have a feelings my pups sensed the same! To find out more about John Paul Pet, look them up online and on social media!

  5. Those are beautiful babies you have there--I sure wish these products had been out when I had dogs--two of them had long thick mostly white coats (one pure white) the third a shepard mix. Somehow I don't think my cat will let me near her with anything-but she is an indoor cat which helps!

  8. I need to try this for my dogs, nothing seems to work for them except keeping them indoors which makes them miserable. I would not mind pampering them a bit more (they are already spoiled!)

  9. That's nice that the eye wipes are doing a good job and might even be helping to keep some of the build-up away. Also wet dog is a horrible smell, so I'm happy for you that the shampoo is ridding the stink!

  20. Our dog can seriously find the worst smelling things to roll in no matter where he is. We have to give him a bath several times a week. We need to get these!

  21. I have a little dog, but this would work perfectly on her. She is not an outside dog so she don't stink too bad. But, when I do give her a bath I would really like her to smell good and not like a wet dog lol.
