In 2004 -- After the sale of New York Style Bagel and Pita Chips and Funnel Cake Factory, the Wilsons didn’t rest on their laurels, as the itch to get back into snack foods was too hard to resist. In 2004, armed with a U.S. Patent for a flat pretzel cracker, the Wilsons created a product called Pretzel Crisps® and voila, a new brand was born!
In 2006 -- Although Pretzel Crisps® attracted loyal followers from day one, what really helped the brand take off – in every sense – was the introduction of a special airline-size package that put the Wilsons’ latest snack innovation in sharp contrast with blandly familiar airline pretzels. Maybe flying high in 2006 helped Pretzel Crisps® secure its place as a new fixture in the snack food category.
Pretzel Crisps come in many different flavors. So many flavors and so many ways to eat them! Dip a Pretzel Crisp in guacamole, add a slice of cheese on top, drip them in your chili, or even enjoy them straight out of the bag! I included some in my husband's lunches. We often enjoyed them on the couch while we watched Duck Dynasty! The kids love to have them on movie night too!
Each flavor is uniquely all its own though. The flavor sticks to the crisp very well. A little comes off on your fingers, but who doesn't love the finger lickin' good fact?
You can see the Garlic Parmesan, Buffalo Wing, Sea Salt and Cracked Pepper, and Everything pictured above. Don't tell me you don't want to just reach in your screen to grab one of these and munch!
We love Pretzel Crisps in our house! Each family member prefers a different one. This works out so we don't have to share! My husband likes the Sea Salt and Cracked Pepper, Ally likes the Garlic Parmesan, Cooper takes Everything over all others and I prefer the Buffalo Wing.
You can find Snack Factory's Pretzel Crisps in your local retailer or order online. Make sure you check them out on social media too!
These are so good. My favorite is the Buffalo Wings! But I am a fan of all the flavors! :D
ReplyDeletePersonally, I think the simple Sea Salt flavor sounds the best! These are a great, healthy alternative to more fattening snacks, such as buttered popcorn or potato chips. Thanks for sharing your thoughts about them!
ReplyDeleteThese are tasty! I also use them when I need toppings on a casserole.
