Happy Friday the 13th! I'm feeling quite under the weather today, but have good news to report! The last couple of weeks I was struggling... Struggling to lose anything! It lead me to thinking that maybe through the winter months I would just maintain my weight at 220 pounds and run more pounds off this body once Spring hit and Day Lights Savings with in my favor. Well by a miracle of finding a small ounce of discipline and not eating all the goodies, I have lost 1.2 pounds this week!
Motivation can be found in the oddest places! Of course when you see the scale move, its motivation to keep seeing it move. Always with the hope of numbers going down and not up! Each morning I post a new motivational photo on our More Sweat Less Wiggle Facebook Page. I know they help me to set personal goals for myself, and I'm really hoping they are helping all of you!
So, as I enjoy my 1.2 pounds gone and being only .4 away from my 65 pounds goal.. I assure you I will see that 65 pounds lost mark on next week's post. This will happen and I am determined to see it.
I've posted a picture of Allyson and myself because as I am getting used to my new body... I'm noticing I am a pretty lady!
Good for you - every little bit adds up! I feel your pain. I have lost triple digits and there were times when I would get stuck and it's SO frustrating. It picks back up eventually, though.
ReplyDeleteYou are very pretty and have always been. It is just now that your are feeling more secure with your body. Good Job!!
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad to hear you are recognizing what a pretty lady you are! :) Congratulations on the weight loss; I know 1.2 pounds doesn't seem like a lot, but that means you are doing it the healthy way. A drastic, rapid loss simply isn't healthy.
ReplyDeleteAnd I hope you feel better soon! I know it's hard to stay motivated to work out and eat well when you are feeling under the weather. :(
I know how frustrating it can be when you don't seem to lose! Those treats at this time of year can be so tempting- I know! But great job resisting and losing that 1 lb!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on that progress. Every little bit helps; and it's most important to never give up. Keep it up!
ReplyDeleteYou will make it! That is a beautiful pic of you and your daughter!
ReplyDeleteYou are a very beautiful lady. Congrats and every little bit counts. Keep it up, and if you can even do a little during winter when all the temptations really come out, in Spring the pounds will melt of even quicker.
ReplyDeleteWAY TO GO!!! I am super proud of you, you go girl. ITs so easy to gain weight but so difficult to lose it, the willpower and the determination are key. Thank you for being so inspiring I LOVE IT

ReplyDeleteCongratulations!! Your progress is amazing and inspiring. I'm glad you stuck with making good choices even when it seemed the scale wasn't going to budge. Can't wait to celebrate the 65 pound mark when you hit it!

ReplyDeleteCongratulations on such a big accomplishment. I've recently lost almost 70 lbs. and it feels really good.
ReplyDeletevery pretty lady! Glad you were able to find the motivation you needed. Winters are always hard on me. I eat more, want to get out less (the -20 degree is not helping either), and want to sleep more. Just can't see to get motivated at all...
