Kids are never to old to learn about good hygiene! I am starting my 3 year old out! We keep a little bag of stuff for her it holds kids perfume, play make-up and hair ties and little samples of baby shampoo and body wash so I was really excited to add a kids deodorant to it! I have been on the hunt for awhile looking and could not find any that was for children... until now! Junior Varsity Naturals carries girls and boys deodorant! 
I got two of the boys which I let my youngest brother try out! The green one is Unscented, The yellow one is citrus. I think the citrus is a good smell! Its not over powering like mens deodorant can be!
For the girls I got the unscented kind. My daughter Nevaeh has been using this and she has very sensitive skin but this has yet to break her out in a rash. So I really like it! She keeps this in her bag and every morning she puts it on! There is no residue left over which is great! Also there is no white spots left on her clothing after wearing this!
The only issue is that when first applying it, it is rough and my daughter did say ouch a couple times but after using it for a little while it rounds and and is a lot easier to apply!
